Our specialists have successfully completed the development of a new roller rotation sensor (RRS). The sensor is designed to monitor the direction, speed, and feed length of a logging cable. Control is implemented through electrical pulses output via two channels.

The active channel determines the feed direction of the logging cable. The pulse frequency determines the current pulling speed. The number of pulses is directly proportional to the length of the pulled cable.
